I've been pretty startled by recent trends in media

One Piece Netflix adaptation, all pirate ships are being built full scale from real wood

TOP GUN movie in theatres, not one CG plane, all real flights

Most of Disney's output over the next year is live action

So I started thinking

Are the rendering farms being used exclusively for deep fakes and psyops? Therefore entertainment has to do everything with as little CG as possible

I'm behind as I don't watch or have the commie Netflix. I dont watch anything out of Hollywood ad it enriches them and I agree that CGI sucks compared to real movie stunts and makeup.
