"They" don't need US armed forces or police. They have private mercenary forces directly under the UN for their personal protection.

The US military/LEO can not be relied upon to support evil. Only their private guard can be trusted do that. Anyone who might act in opposition to their private mercenaries is therefore a threat that needs to be eliminated.
