Nothing new under the sun

Marcus Cicero was a Lawyer himself. Even if some of these statements reflect some of his very conservative views, there are no recordings attributing them to him.

Because Rome never existed. All that crap is a fabrication to make you go "history always repeats itself" when in fact it was them priming you for what was to come.

I applaud the pithy writing, but it's unlikely Cicero wrote this. Btw, Cicero lived when Rome was a republic, that is, before Rome became an empire.
