Prophecies are being fulfilled as we speak so I really don't understand your statement. The reformers identified the "beast" long ago and things are following Bible prophecies quite nicely. I think we are inundated with secular prophecies, which may or may not line up with Biblical prophecy. Has it ever occurred to you that accepted, popular prophetic narrative is being manipulated by the beast?
Someone needs to fulfill the prophecy or else it remains mere words on a page.
