70's or 80's, still need to bring it all back. Its hard to even imagine life back then. Everything seems so much harder now. 10x more complex and lots of wasted time and energy.
Hard to think what could have been done then to prevent what we are dealing with now.
Mid to late 80's. Gas was $.85 in January 1985 (when I started driving) dropped to $.64 in Jan 1988, yes, the good ole days.
I remember filling up my Toyota Tercel for under $8.00.
LOL, I remember when gas hit $1.00 a gallon for regular. People were ready to riot.
I remember when it was 11 to 12 cents a gallon in California!
Wow what year early eighties?
I'd say yes. Judging by the Pomtiac Fiero, the earliest it could be is 1984 which was the 1st year it came out.
Ha Eighties cars were horrible, had an 1984 Blazer total crap I’ll take the gas prices though but I want my 65 Barracuda back. 😂
A Fiero in the 70's

I remember getting cheap gas from $0.89 bean burritos at Taco Bell.
During the time of the gas wars, I paid $0.19 a gallon.
It was where there was a gas station on each corner, one guy was an independent and the others were a Gulf, Sohio, and a Sunoco station.
Everyone kept dropping their prices intil it hit $0.19 a gallon.
There were lines for each station, crazy times back then with gas retailers giving stuff away to get you to stop at their place to buy gas.
Lowest price I ever paid was $0.75 in March of 1995 when I filled up my '73 Charger for the second time. The first time was $0.95 a gallon.
...that beautiful nissan pulsar :)
I remember asking my parents for .25 cents to fill up my dirt bike. A big block Chevelle was about $ 3,500.00.
A 90's Nissan Hardbody truck got 33 miles per gallon.
