I have an old folk medicine book from the 60s and it talks how honey in cows milk is wonderful for babies if breast milk isnt available. They even said back then that corn syrup is hard on babys tummies. Got me thinking how they claim honey is bad for babies under 1 but feeding them corn syrup is no problem. Everything is a lie
Very good. If people want help with nutrition, they should look into talking to a Nutritional Therapist. These are people trained to resolve nutritional deficits and often many disease states through assessment. Look up the Nutritional Therapy Association in Olympia, WA.
Pretty hard to disagree with the sentiment by trumpette that everything is a lie. You pretty much have to give her that one sorry.
Corn Syrup has sugar added to it and less nutrients than honey.
FYI honey can contain botulism and can kill young infants.
But honey kills microbes on contact by reverse osmosis.
But botulism spores can remain present and they will cause your baby to die
Live unpasteurized honey is very expensive and hard to find at many grocery stores. Some people believe it’s a super food. I’m done listening to the government for any health advice
Well, feeding kids HFCS is certainly bad for them. It turns into fat in the liver.
