That is a sad commentary when the people we thought we could trust are now viewed with suspicion. These are the two camps I can see developing here in the States - those that don't trust anything and those that have drank the Kool-Aid. Those that have bought the lies hook line and sinker can take the obvious in front of them and deny that it is there - the same as what you are seeing. To confront the truth requires some reality checks that people would much rather ignore. The realization that those you trusted are in reality completely incompetent, or at worse, trying to kill you and your loved ones. There are many who are not mentally strong enough to handle the truth and they will continue to lie to themselves because it is what they know.
