MY taxes go to pay for roads & bridges, new utilities, sanitation, law & order, education, a strong military, environmental protection, public services, etc... .
There are many examples in the world of completely FREE societies where they don't pay taxes, there are no laws and everyone is free to do as they choose. :>) Those are primarily undeveloped indigenous tribal areas in remote places.
Everywhere on Earth where society has advanced and people flourish... has shared responsibility to the community, including paying taxes. That doesn't make us slaves. It makes us willing, paying and participating members of an advanced society.
Do you also pay taxes so Hunter Biden can fund his business dealings in China and Ukraine? Did you taxes pay for Obama's book deal? How much foreign aid has to be stolen by politicians before you notice? How much of your earnings and capitol has to be raked by the Central Banking system before you care? Your analysis is a bit short sighted and shows a lack understanding of reality.
