Oh man, this meme succinctly puts into words a feeling that I have been mulling over for a few years now. Once a super-patriot, a veteran of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children, and a strong conservative, I have lately been reassessing my part in the American vision of the past few decades.
I've witnessed how a mere ~500 people in Congress and the White House (with the notable exception of Pres. Trump) have stupidly led us into near bankruptcy and a social agenda that celebrates mental illness, dysfunctions of all sorts, and woke culture.
I don't know for sure where we go from here, but the meme points the way, especially the second sentence. Whatever future historians make of this era, I hope that the most notable lesson will be how average, everyday people stood up and said, "ENOUGH!"
Ooh rah, devil dog. I’m right there with you
My keyboard doesn't do emoji's but insert "thumbs up" emoji here____________
👍🏻
....yeah, THAT one.
Copy and paste for future requirements 😎
Trump is not excepted from contributing to national debt, by any stretch
This is a topic I have had much discussion about in private circles, and I can state firmly that this is how many of our “best and brightest” feel.
It is also reflecting in the significant drop in military recruitment from traditional population groups (southern/rural/middle class) that did a majority of the actual combat jobs in the military.
Watch the number of individuals you know who have chosen to quietly end their military careers early and you will realize we have a monster problem on our hands. This is a direct result of losing wars, piss poor leadership, and an unlawful vax mandate…among other things.
I'd give my life, too, if it became necessary. But I much prefer General Patton's philosophy.
Against all enemies, foreign and domestic. If memory serves.
We may soon be called to this, brothers and sisters...
I am ready.
