I am a city boy that has no clue about cattle ranching. That said, I envisioned them dying all over the land and not like what was shown. 10,000 seems like a lot to group so nicely for video footage where that incident just occurred in the early am hours.
10000 was from across the state. About 3k were from the feedlot we saw. That's a large commercial operation, they would have had their act together to get it cleaned up, and they would need documentation of the event for the insurance claim.
As the video explains, 10000 is a miniscule number in the scheme of things.
They had been moved and organized for counting. You can't just leave that on your lot.
