Can you explain why you believe you need remineralization?

My enamel is thin. I've had permanent molars erupt with no enamel and had to be pulled. My husband has high calcium saliva and his teeth are being continuously remineralized. He's never had a cavity in his life and the dentist said he never would. I need more help.
