A lot of the ideas of this post I agree with except writing this life off as a "loss". That Christian fundamentalist complacency is one of the reasons they lost the culture war and rightly so. Marx even called it out and he was right. What we do here absolutely matters and how we spend out time counts. What exactly do you think we'll be judged for? How we spent our time here. And if you spent it preaching, "oh all is lost here just gonna sit on my ass and wait for Jesus," then you're like the idiot in the parable who went and berried his talent.

What we do here matters and if you aren't trying to forge relationships with people, then you will be judged for your lack of trying. I know it's hard. And yes, some shitheads won't listen, but Jesus doesn't care if they accept Him or not. He cares more that you get them to at least acknowledge. He cares that you try to spend time with them. Let Him worry about the semantics. Focus more on what you need to be doing to be like Him and I'll tell you right now, your Sunday indoctrination facility isn't going to provide the answer...
