The command centre was taken out by Kalibr missiles. The missiles also destroyed 10 M777 howitzers and up to 20 armoured vehicles that were recently delivered from the West and had been stored in a factory building on the southern side of Nikolayev. The missiles were launched from a ship in the Black Sea.
