It seems convenient that just as the world is blowing up inflation wise, that they can just blame it on Putin's price hike. While in the US it's more of a reach, in Europe they can definitely just blame it on Putin.

No. This war started in 2014 when France, Germany and Ukraine signed the Minsk Accords with Russia, giving those in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions autonomous rule. They don’t have a military but have a strong militia, but Russia is there for them too. The regions are Russian speaking though. The minute the ink was dry, AZOV was formed and in these regions alone, since 2014, 24,000 civilians and militia have lost their lives to the Nazis. This is why you hear the people that Patrick Lancaster interviews that are being shelled say they have been living this for 8 years meaning it didn’t start just in February. Putin has had enough. He warned Ukraine many, many times about shelling these regions. Ukraine have ignored him. This is why many POWs have been taken to Rostov which is in these regions. The crimes against these civilians happened in these regions, of which there is a documented record being taken. I believe many of the trials will be held there, but Russia too will hold trials. Putin hates the globalists and this is why he kicked out the globalist central bankers and established a Russian owned central bank. And don’t forget, oil and gas from Russia must be paid in GOLD or Rubles. The Ruble is the strongest currency in the world. Inflation is dropping, Putin has given pensioners a 10% increase, some areas are canceling bank debt for civilians etc. Thousands are lining up daily to get their Russian Passports and Russian engineers are connecting gas and water in the liberated areas. Russia is also giving out internet and phone cards via Russia internet providers.
