Do what you can get a little extra each time, none of us is totally prepared, Iβve been working at it for a few years just yesterday, I got mosquito netting yikes!
Well we were thinking if there are blackouts even a generator canβt run your ac for long so weβd most likely have to sleep outdoors, that mosquito netting will make it a bit more tolerable.
Hey down here from the south we have neighbors that work on one of those items at a time building a stock pile each. Will be helping each other with supplies. See if you can't depend on friends and neighbors
Make a list and divide it up amongst yourselves
Yep, my brother, Dad, and husband have been stockpiling dry food and water. I know this isn't all we need but we're good on that point. We also have lots of first aid supplies - pray these are not needed. We all have generators but doubt we'd run them because we feel that would be painting a target.
Hey, people who will cause the STHTF, please wait until late Fall cause it gets hot as hell down here.
One of our sons has 200 acres with water access so lots of fresh fish, gators (really is pretty good), crawfish and plenty of water we can purify. Also has feral hogs - BIG ones. I don't eat pork as a rule but if I'm starving, I'll hold my nose.
Pork doused in maple syrup or candied in brown sugar can change a man's mind π. Hope yall will ok on other things neighbor. Here we will endure in mississippi coast
I'm a woman π.
My sense of smell is super keen. My husband always says that if we lived in France, I could have been a "nose" for the fragrance industry. This has made me sensitive to food aromas - drove my parents crazy because I was so picky. Didn't try to be difficult just did not want to "lose my lunch" at mealtimes.
Let's shake a leg there, rooftop! I've been holding the line so long I've got rope burns on my hands. ππ€£π
Me too...since 1987 π
(her, I think)
