I think he's far overestimating the progress made in waking up people because he doesn't ever interact with liberals. He thinks the majority of people would welcome back Trump because of high gas prices. The moderate democrats and independents I know still have extreme Trump derangement syndrome and would take Hitler over Trump in a split second. They are still totally clueless about what is going on in the world.
