Kinda brings back memories of Len Bias, but Len's situation is likely very different.

That was almost entirely Len's fault.

Cocaine on draft night.

He was dead the next day.

On the plus side, his death forced the NBA to crack down hard on drug use, something LONG overdue even in 1986.
