I don't know that he is playing dumb at all. At first he was standing behind and supporting the police at the hearing immediately following the event. But, as stories surfaced as to how law enforcement stood back and didn't go in and that they lied about the door being locked, etc., he then requested bodycam footage and other evidence to see what the truth was, but law enforcement and others involved have gone silent and stopped cooperating.
Agreed. From the parents not storming the place to get their precious children out, to speaking on camera shortly after (dry eyed) to stump for gun control, to multiple dads for one girl, to active shooter drills recently held (filmed, no doubt), to law enforcement acting like Elmer Fudd.....to a million more inconsistencies.
This stinks worse than the Salton Sea!
Why did they both have the same last name as the girl, then?
Also, neither was teary-eyed and spoke with normal tone and without anguish.
If either was the girl's dad, and she actually did die, one of them would have shown real heartfelt emotional response in voice tone, body posture, head and eye position. Neither did.

This entire tragedy smells so fishy.
