I'm sure the Biden recession isn't helping.

Lack of contrails makes it warmer, not cooler. Interesting enough is that the theory was proven after all commercial flights were grounded for 3 days after 9/11. The average temperature increased 2C.
The average range difference between night and day temperatures was 2 degrees. Not the same. This article has a somewhat rambling explanation which could be clearer: https://globalnews.ca/news/2934513/empty-skies-after-911-set-the-stage-for-an-unlikely-climate-change-experiment/. And the theory that contrails have a warming effect has also been challenged: https://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/climatechange/2009/05/911_contrails_study_challenged.html. His links are bad and the Beeb is suspect anyway, but it is true that three days in a relatively small part of the world is a very small sample. However, we have had less air traffic over a bigger area for months and we may be poised to get a better answer. This would be some real data for climate fans. I was only commenting that the skies are definitely cleaner and bluer, though. Regardless of the effect of contrails, I blame planes most for the horizon smudge that has been increasing for years.
