Well, we certainly have quite a crock of quockerwodgers in government.

I can hear Dave saying this now....."Now the deep state quockerwodger masters are panicking like never before".

I think the word lessened in use over time since it became synonymous with the word "politician" and thus it became redundant - no need for a new descriptive term when practically all politicians are "Quockerwodgers".
