So my son is obsessed with Star Wars. I couldn't pull the Disney + subscription because they have all the Star Wars content. Since school ended, " The Clone Wars" cartoon is on our TV almost constantly.
I'm already not happy giving them ANY money. In the last couple of days I started paying attention. The crazy thing is, the main themes of this show are govt corruption, treason and democracy. They basically present the Seperatist or the bad guys as the Deep State.
I have to admit, I was expecting woke bullshit. I am shocked Disney is releasing this stuff. It's basically explaining and demonstrating government corruption. My 10 year old just asked me what a conspiracy is while watching.
Whoever is writing this script is definately a Patriot. I know Disney is evil and Im an asshat for giving them $. I just want to report there is one cartoon we can feel safe to let our kids watch.
Clone wars had George Lucas oversight and was pre disney with exception of the final season. Final season isnt woke. Runs alongside revenge of the sith featuring ahsoka's involvement.
Could buy used dvds off ebay and not pay d+. But kid will probably want to watch other disney stuff. Im sure is difficult raising a young kid now.
They are just projecting, and dumbing down people. So when it happens in real society, it’ll be like… Oh yeah I did see a cartoon about that. It’s to wear us down, normalize it, and it’s too signal to everybody while laughing and our faces. As long as they continue to make shows like this, it’s a way for them to Point and say… That’s just make believe, you’re a conspiracy theorist. That only happens in movies and cartoons. all the while being the great Satanists that they are and announcing to the world everything they’re gonna do in advance.
I completely had these thoughts at first. The thing is, it opened up a dialog w my son that never would have come up. He has been asking questions like is Joe Biden like Count Dookoo? I then had the opportunity to explain using the show as examples of what is going on in our government on a kid level. I teach him good morals, but I try to sheild him from the micros of all this. I found it to be a great teaching opportunity.
I also think by putting this out there to normalize it would make our kids start to question everything. If they have the seed planted that govt corruption could exist, it's not so shocking in reality.
I also don't disagree with you. I could just be looking at this through hopium rose glasses because I just had a cool moment w my son.
Each parent has to make their own decision. If it provide you with an opportunity to teach, then that’s great. I’m happy that you’re able to have conversations like that with your child, without causing them alarm. You sound like a good parent
Make sure to explain how palpatine hijacks the senate and becomes a dictator. And then plays both the republic amd separatists against each other. Having his mind controlled clone troopers turn on and kill the jedi after palpatine was done using them. The republic then becomes the empire.
The original 6 movies and clone wars series is a great overall story. And pretty darn relevant to the current time.
If yall havent seen clone wars, is a couple episodes where they learn the clone troopers have a brain implant that will be triggered when palpatine issues order 66 in revenfe of the sith. The clones then start killing jedi.
It isn't in every case, anon. Lots of anons can point to older entertainment that sparked a desire to do right in them, which they carried forward through life (like a Jedi). But your claim and theory is strong if you're talking about recent entertainment (Marxist propaganda).
While true in most cases, I think youre blanket disregarding that good media has still been made by people who werent infected, in the years leading up to 2012-2016, where most of the "wokeness" started really infiltrating the mainstream.
Yes there are very clearly stories meant to lampshade ideas the cabal would love to use (the new jurassic park and its genetically modified locuses eating only unGMO food, comes to mind)
But that doesnt mean shows from a decade ago, dont have good themes and dialogue in them, because many were simply trying to tell a good story (and we also cant rule out warnings that were given to us, about what was coming, so we would understand)
That's because both Clone Wars animated series predate the Disney acquisition by years and years.
The ego is there to protect itself. You can always find a justification for something you really want to do if you can’t be honest with yourself.
