Kansas just had 3,000 cows die of “heat” on one lot. This is not normal but I’m just crazy for thinking that right? Well my husband who is a wonderful man but isn’t as invested as I am in finding the truth came home today and told me someone he works with, his family has a ranch in Texas. They got a letter the other day telling them to lay down their steer and get $1500 a head. They can not send to slaughter and will not be able to send any animals anywhere commercial. They can only sell private which is far more difficult for a big ranch like this one. Apparently the owner is drafting a nice “F you” letter to the FDA. My husband is getting closer and closer to seeing everything is true. I had really hoped it wasn’t true ranchers and farmers were being paid to destroy food but I knew deep down it was. Heaven help people to see the truth soon. I honestly believe the lot that lost 3000 to “heat” probably killed them and is probably being paid to lie. Could be wrong I guess.

Do you have a community fair with a livestock auction? It may be just 4h/FFA kids auctioning, but talk to people around it. Chances are the dad driving dually with the 5th wheel trailer and 4 cows in it is a farmer.
Edit to add: Im not saying to necessarily buy in the auction as they are usually overpriced, but you can network there.
