2 thoughts on this that makes me shrug at the news:

1. Blue states will double down on expanding abortion rights. End result is some demographic shifting, the amount of blood spilt may be zero sum solely from this SC decision.

2. The bigger issue is the still increasing rates of infertility, no one's doing enough serious research on causes and its going to make elective abortion debate relatively moot as the birth rates -> population declines in general.

But yes despite that, recognizing the lack of constitutional basis for abortion is a principled historical win for sure.
