If it were about "my body my choice" then the libs would have been against the covid/vax mandates.
It is really about sexual intercourse without consequences as in "I want to have sex without any consequences".

It's nothing to do with being jaded. I 've had too much personal experience over the last 40 years to swallow someones opinion just because it matches what I want to believe.
I didn't WANT to go to Christ - I rejected him (well mainly his Dad) for a reason and I NEVER NEVER would accept he is any more than just another 'christ-like-figure' Until recently. It was a bitter pill to swallow but hey ho, I search for Truth even if it wasn't what I hoped for.
Those Christ-Like figures again, you act as if you just found that out. Common knowledge but been manipulated. Someone recently did a good debunking on that, better than I could, wish I could remember who, but no, they aren't the same at all, there are significant differences with what they claimed.
