It also doesn't make sense. Let's pretend Q is actually operation trust... then that means the DS really are evil and tricking us. In either case, the DS are real and evil.

If it was a troll they would have to know trump in some way pretty closely. They would have to be very very good a reading what will happen years later. If Q is a troll he is at the "Tippy top" of the ladder.
