This is a great meme, and some of it is accurate. But a lot of it is not. It doesn’t quite work that way. The ideal way of thinking about it though, but it doesn’t quite work that way.
If you’re getting $1800 a month for a disability, you will not receive food stamps.
The same goes for HUD money. If your income at is a certain rate you don’t qualify.
I don’t know about college funds for single mothers. I’ve never heard of that.
To be able to claim a child on your taxes, they have to live with you part time more than six months out of the year. So they would have to live at that father‘s mothers house for more than six months out of the year. That means they would have to be registered at their school, at the fathers address, not the mother‘s address.
If that was the case, any benefits the mother would receive based on the children, wouldn’t be available. The father was working, he wouldn’t receive any benefits either because he would be making too much money. It would only be a tax deduction.
I had a friend that worked at DES. It’s not as easy as you think. But I’m sure if people are a big fat liars, it’s a lot easier to get money. So a lot of the above is possible.
