So you notice more hair? Whereas in the past you were losing hair? interesting. I would like to try it but i fear it would be so minor i wouldn't even notice, or it'd be placebo lol
My hair is growing back anyway. It has been ever since I got the 'rona in 2020. My male pattern baldness started reversing, I am finding that the shampoo seems to be speeding that up a little.
It could be that I am more healthy now, perhaps not zinc deficient, or it could be that my testosterone dropped after the illness. It was right after I got better from the 'rona in 2020 that I got new stubble where I had lost some hair high on my forehead. It's still quite thin there.
Hmm
I have MPB starting as well, maybe i'll give it a shot
Catching the 'rona or using caffeine shampoo?
I bought Alpecin by the way.
Found this post on the interwebs, not sure if true but just another data point:
What topically-applied caffeine CAN do is stimulate blood flow to the scalp and with increased blood flow comes increased access to nutrients. Basically anything that stimulates the scalp does this though, and it feels a heck of a lot better to give yourself a scalp massage.
The other thing caffeine can do when applied topically is target DHT, which is an androgen associated with male pattern baldness.
Caffeine is known to be “a stimulator of human hair growth”. In their research on baldness from participants that suffered from DHT, the areas where caffeine was applied directly follicles showed significant growth as opposed to other areas of the scalp. Caffeine contains nutrients that deeply penetrates the scalp to increase the reproduction of hair follicles. From the results conducted, caffeine is now commonly used in several hair growth treatments, including those used to stop male pattern baldness.

In that sense caffeine as a treatment to minimize hairfall does have some merit, but honestly you'd be just as successful, if not moreso, by doing a black tea rinse once a week or so, which has been common in India and much of South Asia since basically forever.
To be honest, I thik if there was a cure for MPB none of hollywood actors would go bald. Because they have access to even the cures that we don't get. my 2 cents
But hey, maybe it'll stop the shedding. I noticed a lot of hair in the tub when i take a shower
haha caffiene shampoo
ok thanks for the recommendation. some mixed reviews on amazon but idk.
