Another shutdown is code for we are shipping all your food overseas. “I have contacted the Tennessee Economic and Community Development staff to request assistance in keeping the plant open or facilitating a sale to another operator,” China will be happy to buy it all up. Goodbye Chicken. Hello soy burgers.
They probably can't afford to feed the chickens. One YouTuber I watch says that feed has gone up so much, that she would have to charge over $11 a dozen for eggs just to cover the feed cost. So she has stopped selling her eggs. And she's in eastern TN.
Wonder if Tyson has anything to do with this. Tyson is literally taking over everything in West TN. Maybe pushing out the competition elsewhere as well?
The plant I used to work at closed in October 22, 2021.
We are not helping businesses here at home. We are still sending millions to Afghanistan. I haven't even mentioned the Ukraine!
The reason has not yet been disclosed. Of course.
