Lived there 30 years and love California... as I knew it. Heartbreaking. My son who grew up there went back a few years ago visiting fam and said our area is unrecognizable. Y'all need a miracle, fren

Same. The street I grew up on until 8yrs old looked exactly like the opening shots of the Wonder Years TV show. Went back to reminisce when I hit 21 and it all went to hell: run down houses and cars, bars on windows, trash everywhere. I'll give one guess what demographic took it over.
