You don't seem to realise that the audience have been taking all sorts of intoxicants over the course of the weekend, there is a huge scramble to get out of the gates to get home in time for work the next day and the roads out of the festival are narrow country lanes. They have chosen how to conduct themselves, within the confines of their french fried consciousness that is.
The audience as a whole? I don't know what you mean by that at all, they are not a group mind like the Borg. You lecture on morality and responsibility, what is that if not virtue signalling and moral outrage? Endex.
