You beat me to it! These days I can't see any news without also seeing alternative reasons for it.

Are websites genuinely there to help or are they honeypots to catch the unwary?
Are drugs banned because they are bad or because it keeps the price high?
Are illegal immigrants allowed for humanitarian reasons or because they - destabilise the country?
Is aid sent to poor countries for philanthropic reasons or because they will be happy to send some of the money back to the instigators?
Etc ...
