It feels that way because the Cabal (Satan's Army) writes the future as they control nearly all aspects here on Earth. We are living in Satan's playground. His army pre-programs and puts imagery of what they will do (or are doing) in the public to mock God and his creation (humanity).
With that being said... God can inspire his followers to fight back and do great acts of righteousness on a global scale, if he wants to. But that has rarely occurred throughout the history of Earth as it has been utterly inflicted with the curse of sin.
