I think the term came about from the 70’s when there was an over population movement, nothing compared to the bat @%$@ crazies today. I had several friends who decided they didn’t want children men as well. I had several coworkers men go get vasectomies. Hence the Pro “choice” term, I know women who got their tubes tied, happily with no issues from any of them. Only one friend who when he meet his wife that I know regretted his decision and went for a reversal, it worked he had twins 😂.
