I dunno ... seems like a dump truck driver would generally be a more skilled driver than the average person. This type of accident seems unlikely.
Strange how this played out, assuming it is what really happened.
The article reads like an advertisement for boy scouts. No details of the accident. I will say though in an uncontrolled rr crossing many people don't even slow down. They trust the lights work. I wouldn't bet my life on it.
