Maybe. Doctors and Lawyers die in General Aviation crashes at a disproportionate rate from any other occupation other than pilot. Without even looking them up, I can think of half a dozen doctors and a lawyer who died so far this year and I'm sure there are more.
Two were husband and wife doctors in the same plane from Boston if I recall correctly.
EDIT: Even more weird, is that the husband and wife doctors crashed into a building with the word "TRUMPF" written on the side of it. I can see it in my head still.
There are the FAA regulations, and there is what people actually do.
The FAA doesn't have enough personnel to send around to every small airport in America checking maintenance logs and making sure you did all the proper maintenance on time. Maintenance is expensive, and some people treat it like it's optional.
...do any of the aircraft engine failures involve Vaccine whistle blowers?

I won't give up my stick shift truck. Very hard to take control of something that can be taken out of gear by a manual lever.
