My 16 yo son has a court date Aug 2nd at 1. Another kid got in trouble for riding his dirt bike on a baseball diamond and he's saying that my son was there. My son wasn't there. They only have the kids statement. The only dirt bike my son has is not running and the cops saw that and they took pictures of it. And they're still trying to charge him with no evidence let me remind you. They called me the courts wanted me to bring him in and have him admit to what he did so they could give him community service and have him put on the lowest possible probation there is. And I said do you have any evidence that was my son? Do you have any pictures any videos? She said no all they had was a deputy statement. So I told her I have no problem bringing him in if you can prove to me that my son did it I'll gladly bring him in have him sign up for this program he'll do his community service whatever but if you don't have any evidence I'm not going to bring him into admit to something he didn't do that's entrapment and then they wanted to put it on put them on probation before even seeing a judge no I know my son's rights. So I have an appointment with a really good attorney on Wednesday at 1:00 it's a phone consultation. I have to add to his dad my ex-husband said he's not going to let this go he's not going to let him railroad our son like this so I'm thankful that we have a good relationship he's going to help me pay for the attorney and he's not happy it's like I'm not happy

Reminds me of the time my kid was watching a road race and got taken in for racing.
Can you believe they took all the kids to jail for racing? They also “confiscated” and lost a go pro camera showing the kids on the side of the road watching.
With all the actual crime happening this chicken shit stuff is what they decide to spend their time on.
I am with you, patriot! Fight it!
It is easier and safer for them to spend time on intimidating and fining juveniles. They get some money, the kid maybe gets something on his juvenile record, and they continue to try and implicate and intimidate him until he is 18 and they can point to his juvenile record as a reason to falsely peg him with an adult crime.
