I don't want a "conservative" Supreme Court, any more than I want a "progressive" one. The purpose of the Supreme Court is to adjudicate matters pertaining to the Constituion, not to follow any particular ideological path.

The American left has forgotten this altogether. It would be undesirable for the American right to forget it, too.
