I've seen some discussion on p.w that its the threats being made to his children that have shut him up - he hasn't made a post since the 'news' one of his sons who turned 18 is now asserting they are transgender, want to change their name, and 'divorce' from Elon.

So thats a message that they can get at him, at any time.. and it will be his children in the crosshairs even if they cant get him directly in person.
