The feeling I got, or at least what I think is a strong possibility, from reading all the Titor posts was that it was just someone that wanted to go on about how much cooler things were back in the day, because he would go on and on about how the future is so much cooler cuz people are more personal/social IRL again, most jobs being agricultural in the future, families being more tightly knit again, complaining about music going to shit at the time he travelled to, etc.
He might've meant cuz we're kinda dumb in his eyes though. He said a few times that people from his time look down on us for a few reasons.
Yeah maybe he thought that if this whole thing became big enough that he could kinda change things a lil or something, or at least like hold a mirror up to a lot of people.
It is an interesting read, and I feel like it could possibly be real, which makes it even funner to read/re-read.
