Delta didn’t force out pilots. They were able to remain unvaccinated and pay extra in health insurance (I know - stupid) but I’m not sure what their policy is now though.
Ah, maybe that is what caused Delta to have a different policy than all of the other airlines? They were already facing a huge pilot shortage before Covid...
Odd occurrence yesterday. An acquaintance of mine was flying into La Guardia. Middle of the day. Got halfway there from Nashville and they sent them back bc La Guardia was “gridlocked “. They were able to fly in later in the day.
Force a bunch of pilots out because they will not be injected with a mystery jab, have no plans to replace them, and then chaos ensues.
Who woulda thunk it?

2,000 of 14,000 Delta pilots chose early retirement in 2020.

Could be.
Although, the article is from June 2020, which was NOT before Covid.
It was at the HEIGHT of the Covid hysteria that they were wanting out.
It was also before the fake vaxx came out, so I wonder what the dynamics were at Delta at that time.
I identify as a pilot. My pronouns are this and that.
