Florida did not PREorder, thats all, and Desantis didnt forbid these vaccines in his state. Not sure that he even can.. From the governors press conference, "Doctors can get it. Hospitals can get it. But there’s not going to be any state programs that are going to be trying to get COVID jabs to infants and toddlers and newborns. That’s not something we think is appropriate.”. The Florida Department of Health said the state would leave the decision to order vaccines to individual doctors, rather than ordering in bulk from the federal government. You see, He isnt going to use state resources for this.
So some are choosing to give it, like a Dr. office, and some are not, like Publix and UF Health.
This woman is employed with UM Health in Miami and was removed from a position with Florida Healthy Kids Board because she made it clear her stance was political.
