Maybe it was intentional to be over 100%.
It's part of a famous joke from Norm MacDonald and his SNL Weekend Update skit.
The audience booed him after he delivered the first part of the joke.
He continued.
"For those of you hissing at that joke, it should be noted that joke was written by a woman, so now you don't know what to do, huh?"
Audience laughed and lots of clapping. He continued.
"Nah, I'm just kidding. We don't hire women."
Skit was and still is comedy gold. The meme is funny to the many people who are familiar with this skit, which went viral on YouTube 4 years ago.
In conclusion, I'll leave you with some words of wisdom from Immortal Technique-
"Don't be sensitive and angry at the shit that I wrote, cuz if you can take a fuckin dick then you can take a joke."
I thank you for pointing this out. LaTortuga, I understand your concern, but I am a woman myself and find the joke very funny. I think it’s positive energy to be able to laugh at oneself. I loved Norm, he will be missed.
You're the negative energy in this thread. Everybody else can take a fucking joke and not turn it into a divisive statement about patriarchal dominance except you.
Also, nobody's reading this thread at this point, and you're going to downvote me because you think frens give a shit about updoots. You need to worry about your own actions and quit telling other people how to exercise their freedom of speech.
Maybe try posting high energy responses, or, even better, high energy original posts, instead of bringing people down and then accusing them of being the negative ones? Just a thought?
If you failed to grasp the meaning of my original reply:
"Norm MacDonald made a funny joke that pointed out the hypocrisy of politically correct speech long before WOKENESS became a nationwide epidemic" and "Don't take yourself so damn seriously."
