If all events follow one predetermined path then prayer is equivalent to shouting at an actor in a horror movie to "not go into that room!". I agree that we dont know wether or not its part of the plan but OPs pleas for group prayer are based on keeping us safe, asking for it to be blown up (strong human emotional response) shows how much this means to them
