In this thread: a bunch of idiots with not the slightest clue how particle physics works.
If a particle accelerators can steal souls or open portals to bell, then provide a mechanism for how that works, then explain why God would allow a human invention to affect the spiritual world.
If a particle accelerator can open portals, then explain why nukes, stars, black holes, and cosmic radiation striking our atmosphere don’t produce the same effect. Those things I just listed smash particles together with orders of magnitude more energy than human made particle accelerators.
The “God particle” is a poor nickname for the Higgs Boson, a particle that theoretically gives regular matter it’s property of mass and helps clean up our theories of how particle physics works. Has nothing to do with God or the spiritual world, aside from the fact that God created the Higgs Boson if it exists.
Personally, I don't think anyone believes a word they're saying, what they're doing, nor what they're "trying to find."
But if you believe they're looking for something benign, that's cool.
And this is part of many more lies told to us all yet to be revealed.
