On appeal, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit affirmed the decision of the court, and therefore the constitutionality of the ban, on April 27, 2015.
so if not taken up, it was not necessarily upheld. it works out the same as upheld until they look at the challenges and uphold the lower court ruling with their own ruling.
