Actually, I think the best thing is to just eliminate the public schools. If parents are given vouchers and a choice, I think that will happen. Any schools that survive will get a lot better fast or they'll close too.
Agreed—let the market decide and compete. Cutting off the money supply from the feds is key to wresting control.

Good for you! And for your kids! I shudder when I picture what the kids in these schools are going to face when they're adults and their parents when they get their heads out of their butts and realize what they have done.
