A lady I work with has had a ferocious sinus infection and cough for 6 weeks. Lots of other co-workers and family members complaining of not feeling well for weeks on end. I also know of two individuals have gotten shingles which is unusual. Of course, I'd like to ask them if they had the jabs (which I believe they have), but I'm not bringing that up....many get defensive. Something has changed, especially with the Summer period being here where this sort of thing is not very common.

Around me there’s a nasty upper respiratory infection that hangs on for a few weeks. I was taking all the major OTC meds and quercetin + zinc + D + C. Still had to do nasal washes every 2 hours. Missed 2 days of work and a week later I have a residual sore throat. I’m still doing the nutritional supplements until I’m no longer dealing with any residual issues.
I felt so bad I actually went to the doc. I did get the new guy since it was a day of appt, and he didn’t care about COVID the least bit. Just mentioned they’re getting 4-5 people like me a day right now. Take OTC stuff and get some good sleep.
I’ve seen people get it and be out of work for a couple weeks. And others seem to have a lingering cough for up to a month.
