Medicine does more harm than good, period. There is no time when anyone should see a doctor. People were able to fix broken bones at home for thousands of years before we even had medical schools. People have grown too soft.
I disagree that most OTC drugs do more harm than good. I don't see any evidence of that while I do see personal substantial evidence they help with fevers, headaches, allergies, pain, etc.
I do think there should be a much better focus on actual preventive medicine and health. "One size fits all, treat the symptoms" is incredibly broken.
