I thought that England once had a flag similar to Norway, Iceland, et. al with the offset cross symbol, but I was unable to locate any record of that being used. Please post if you find info. At one point I was investigating a possible connection between the Nordics and England in their flag symbology, but unable to find a connection beyond their Norse/Saxon ancestry.

This English flag similarity to the Nordics may have been an intentional misdirect to appear as Christian outwardly, while actually not.
