Hmmm... Sri Lanka got lots of money from China - belt and road stuff. Now, China own's them. Controlled demolition.

Thanks. From what I understand, China, through the OBOR, got a huge foothold - especially in one of their ports. This deal placed Sri Lanka in a debt trap with China that will allow the Chinese to basically take over the country - or at least huge parts of it that will economically and strategically benefit China. I really don't fault China. Hell, the US and the EU nations have been exploiting the rest of the world for generations.
